LAGOAS PINK: Together for Breast Cancer Awareness

Throughout the month of October, Lagoas Park turns PINK, committing to raising awareness for breast cancer prevention and showing our support for the institutions dedicated to this cause. This initiative aims to actively engage our community with a topic that requires visibility, demystification, and encouragement for prevention. On October 14th, Lagoas Park marks World Breast Cancer Day with a major screening and information drive, in partnership with the LPCC - Portuguese League Against Cancer. Where: Praça Central Time: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Lagoas Pink Activations: Join us at Praça Central for several dynamics and activations: LPCC Booth: Support desk featuring palpation models, informative, and educational content. A League health technician will be available to clarify doubts and guide the community on the subject. Screening and Quiz: You will have the opportunity to schedule mammograms with LPCC support and answer a small screening quiz. Correct answers are rewarded with a special pink gift that helps demystify the topic. Pink Photobooth: A dedicated pink space to take instant photos, keep a great memory of the event, and share your commitment to the cause on social media.
